Day 2

Phnom Penh - Siem Reap - Angkor - Siem Reap

After beakfast, transfer for your flight to Siem Reap.

Start your visit to Angkor Wat this morning by visiting the city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire, surrounded by 8m tall walls. From here, visit the Bayon Temple in the exact centre of the complex and also explore the Terrace of the Elephants.

Day 3

Siem Reap - Angkor Wat - Siem Reap

Start your day by visiting the 'Small Circuit' by remork, and see the Ta Prohm temple, unique in that it has largely been left overgrown by the jungle. In the afternoon, discover Angkor Wat, the spectacular temple that was built to resemble Mount Meru, home of the gods. The temple took over 30 years to build and is decorated by more than 300 Apsara dancers. As this is your last evening, enjoy a Khmer farewell dinner accompanied by a traditional Aspara dance.

Day 4

Enjoy some free time this morning.

Late morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

On arrival, be met by your guide and check in at your hotel.

Then visit Vietnam's first traditional medicine museum, FITO, to learn about this art. Head back to the city centre to visit Ben Thanh Market, where you can investigate the local fresh produce. In the afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum, former Presidential Palace and the Old Saigon Post Office, stroll past the colonial sights, then head back to the hotel.

This morning, head to Cai Be, a delta town, then board a boat for a cruise of the Cai Be floating market. After visiting the market, see a local workshop where 'pop-rice', rice paper and coconut candies are prepared, then return to the boat for a cruise to the Dong Hoa Hiep Island, where you can get a glimpse of the village life. Later, return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Hi Chi Minh City - Danang - Hoi An

After breakfast, take a short flight to Danang.

Day 8

Hoi An - Hue

Leave Hoi An for Hue this morning, calling in at Danang and the Cham Museum en route, with its fine collection of scuptures. Hue was once the imperial capital of Vietnam and is home to an ancient citadel that you will explore this afternoon.
